In part 2 of this 3 part mini series on Gameplanning, I want to talk about situational awareness. When racers think of gameplanning, we have a tendency to think about it in reference to an opponent. I’d argue that 95% of a successful gameplan is focused on what is happening in your own lane.

The single biggest attribute in my racing today is my ability to hit the tree. A lot of the questions I get are centered around how can you advance that in your racing? How can you make hitting the tree your biggest attribute?
