Benton, IL: The 2012 JEGS Summer Door Car Shootout will be presented by C.A.R.S. Protection Plus, Tinsley Drilling & Company, and Bill Taylor Enterprises. The second annual JEGS SDCS marks the second season of major involvement from Mississippi based racing transmission and torque converter manufacturer Bill Taylor Enterprises (BTE). BTE is proud to present participants of the JEGS Summer Door Car Shootout with $1500 in gift certificates!

All BTE gift certificates will be awarded as "Door" Prizes at the JEGS Summer Door Car Shootout. The unique "Door" Prize concept awards competitors who are defeated in the second and third round of competition (round money begins with fourth round losers). BTE will supply six $250 gift certificates which will be awarded via random drawing among second and third round losers throughout the event.

The second annual JEGS Summer Door Car Shootout will take place July 21-22 at I-57 Dragstrip in Benton, IL. The door car-only event features a winners purse of $7500 each day, with pay back to fourth round losers. Two-day weekend entry is just $275.
