Benton, IL: For a second consecutive season, Ohlins Advanced Suspension Technology will present the King of Illinois "Hi-Rollers" event at the JEGS Summer Door Car Shootout. The special race within a race will be contested Saturday evening, July 21 following the daily main event. The Ohlins King of Illinois Shootout will be open to any competitor willing to pay the $500 (cash only) entry fee. The winner of the shootout will earn all of the entry money: 100% payback, WINNER TAKE ALL! If the race has 20 entrants, the winner will walk away with a smooth $10,000! With 30 entrants, the winners purse is $15,000! And so on…

As if the cash purse wasn’t enough, Ohlins is throwing in a great bonus prize for the winner of the event. In addition to the 100% payback, winner-take-all CASH prize, the King of Illinois champion will also receive a set of two LMP Series racing shocks, courtesy of Ohlins and Dixie Racing Products. The second annual JEGS Summer Door Car Shootout will take place July 21-22 at I-57 Dragstrip in Benton, IL.
