63rd Ohlins Tutorial Column Available Today on ThisIsBracketRacing.com
Carterville, IL: Luke Bogacki’s sixty-third Ohlins monthly tutorial column has posted on ThisIsBracketRacing.com. This month, Bogacki provides his world championship insight on throttle stop setup for “Super” and “Rod” class racers.
“This month’s column is in response to a request from one of our subscribers awhile back that we touch on the basics of throttle stop setup, tuning, and common troubleshooting. While I generally try not to stray from our main focus of actual driving instruction, methods, and techniques, I do like the idea of touching on this topic. I think that many racers who compete in the “Super” categories struggle to completely grasp the fundamentals of throttle stop racing; and obviously those of you who have been strictly bracket racers in the past, and have interest in trying your hand in the .90 ranks can benefit from a quick look at the basics.”
Bogacki, the 32-year-old editor of ThisIsBracketRacing.com recently claimed the 2013 NHRA Lucas Oil Super Comp championship. He earned his reputation as one of the most successful big dollar bracket races in the country, and more recently he has also enjoyed great success in NHRA and IHRA competition. With his 2013 world championship Bogacki is now a 5-time top ten finisher in NHRA competition, and also has 5 IHRA top ten finishes. With his recent 2013 NHRA Division 7 Super Comp crown, he now has four NHRA division championships to match his four IHRA division titles. He’s earned a combined 13 career national event victories in NHRA and IHRA. Bogacki was voted the 2008 IHRA Sportsman Driver of the Year on the strength of an amazing season that resulted in an unprecedented top 5 national finish in three separate IHRA categories (Quick Rod, Top Dragster, and Stock Eliminator). Those accolades complement a host of big dollar bracket racing victories and accomplishments that include over 50 individual event wins of $5,000 or more, and points championships within the DragRaceResults.com Bracket Series, B&M Racers Appreciation Series, Southern Super Tens Series, Tenn-Tuck Triple Crown, and more.
