Guest Instructor - Justin Lamb

24-year-old Justin Lamb may be the youngest guest instructor we’ve had to date here on, but he is not the least experienced. Lamb, a graduate of the Jr. Dragster ranks, has made his mark in NHRA sportsman competition. He is already an 8-time NHRA national event winner, having achieved that feat in 4 different categories (Super Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, and Top Dragster). Lamb has driven seemingly every true sportsman machine imaginable, and has achieved success in everything from Competition Eliminator to the bracket ranks.

Already regarded as one of the nations most versatile and talented young drivers, Lamb, a recent graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, has earned a reputation as one of the smartest sportsman racers in the pits.

“I met Justin a few years ago, and had the opportunity to drive for him and his father Chris earlier this season,” explained TIBR’s Luke Bogacki. “I knew he was a great racer, but what really stood out to me about their whole program was Justin’s attention to detail and cerebral nature. He really thinks things through. He does his homework and at the same time he doesn’t make things more difficult than they have to be. We felt like he would be a great addition to the TIBR family, and I’m confident he’ll provide some very insightful commentary for our reader base.”

In 2011 he earned the Division 7 championship in Competition Eliminator. In addition to his own success, Lamb has enjoyed victories as a car owner and crew chief for notable sportsman competitors including Peter Biondo, Shawn Langdon, Ryan Herem, Eric Reyes, and Kyle Seipel.
